Mr. Asby is a Senior Analyst and evaluates new opportunities and assists in the management of Spectrum's current investments. He has 16 years of broad experience in analyzing, structuring, and executing complex transactions, specializing in distressed corporate turnarounds. Prior to joining Spectrum, Mr. Asby was a Vice President in the Turnaround & Restructuring Group at AlixPartners. Earlier in his career, Mr. Asby co-led the comprehensive turnaround and recapitalization of JHT Holdings, a premier commercial transportation provider. In these roles, he focused on value-maximization through capital restructuring and strategic turnaround advisory. Prior to JHT, Mr. Asby was an Associate in the Restructuring Group at Huron Business Advisory.  

Mr. Asby received a B.B.A. from the University of Iowa, and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.  He is a CFA Charterholder.
